The Faculty of Medicine at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and the Magdeburg University Hospital (A.ö.R.) have jointly signed the Diversity Charter (Charta der Vielfalt) as Magdeburg University Medicine (UMMD). In doing so, the UMMD is sending a clear signal for the recognition, appreciation, and promotion of diversity as an integral part of its corporate culture for all employees—regardless of nationality, age, gender, religion, cultural and social background, sexual orientation, or physical and mental abilities.

Der Young Research Day 2026 bringt Studierende, Promovierende und Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen der Universitätsmedizin Magdeburg zusammen, um aktuelle Forschung sichtbar zu machen, neue Kontakte zu knüpfen und wissenschaftliche Exzellenz zu feiern.

The Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter) is Germany’s largest corporate initiative aimed at promoting diversity in the workplace. By signing the charter, organizations commit to creating a work environment free of prejudice—regardless of age, ethnic origin, gender, religion, or disability.

Für die Studienjahre 2025/26 und 2026/27 wurde mit Dr.in Justyna Stypińska eine herausragende Wissenschaftlerin auf die Dorothea-Erxleben-Gastprofessur berufen.
